With Estate-Plan Gift, Dibbert Family Invests in Durham Academy’s Future

We chose to include Durham Academy in our estate plan as our way of giving back to the people who made such a lasting difference in our sons’ lives. Michael ’99 and Brian ’01 were fortunate to be lifers. Their years at DA were deeply formative — not only because of the exceptional academics but also because of the extraordinary faculty and staff who shaped their character, inspired their passions, and supported each of them for 13 years.
We’ve seen firsthand how vital it is to attract and retain exceptional, inspiring educators who build these impactful relationships. Our gift in support of teachers and coaches will help ensure that future generations benefit from that same dedication and excellence.
We also hope that our gift encourages others to invest in the future of Durham Academy. Planned giving is a meaningful way to express gratitude and is a powerful act of stewardship that helps DA continue to grow and build for generations.
